Fixed – Aston Replay/Panopto Logins
Neil CocklinOvernight there was a problem with the Aston’s internet connection. This appears to have affected the logins for Blackboard which in turn affects logins to the Aston Replay/Panopto recorder. Optivote and Aston Replay
If you’re using Optivote and recording the session for Aston Replay, make sure that the Panopto Recorder isn’t set to capture PowerPoint, as this may cause PowerPoint to crash.
Delayed sessions
There was a problem with the Panopto data server overnight, resulting in a backlog of sessions to process (72 to be exact). Fortunately usage is low on a Wednesday afternoon, so we should be back to normal for Thursday.

The work yesterday was a success, so we’ve now got about 6TB of storage for recordings (compared to the 2TB of space we previously had, which we were about a fortnight away from filling). There’ll be some more downtime next Wednesday (27th) while we work on moving the Panopto database over to a dedicated server.
