Some additional maintenance needs to be carried out on the Aston Replay system on Monday 4th August at 2pm. We anticipate the at risk period to be in the region of 1 hour but could be longer. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Not accepting uploads
Adam MasseyPanopto stopped accepting uploads at approx 1600 yesterday. We’re working with their support team to get this fixed. Until it is back up and running, continue recording sessions as normal. Fixed – Aston Replay/Panopto Logins
Overnight there was a problem with the Aston’s internet connection. This appears to have affected the logins for Blackboard which in turn affects logins to the Aston Replay/Panopto recorder. Delayed sessions
There was a problem with the Panopto data server overnight, resulting in a backlog of sessions to process (72 to be exact). Fortunately usage is low on a Wednesday afternoon, so we should be back to normal for Thursday.

The work yesterday was a success, so we’ve now got about 6TB of storage for recordings (compared to the 2TB of space we previously had, which we were about a fortnight away from filling). There’ll be some more downtime next Wednesday (27th) while we work on moving the Panopto database over to a dedicated server.
