Viewing permissions now refresh more often
Panopto now refreshes a student’s permissions before showing them the Request Access screen. Short notice: Replay will be unavailable overnight
Panopto Cloud, which powers Aston Replay, will be unavailable between 0000 and 0300 BST on Thursday 8 October.
Replay will be unavailable on the evening of 27 June 2020
Panopto Cloud, which powers Aston Replay, will be upgraded to the latest version on 27 June 2020. Replay will be unavailable for viewing or creating sessions between 10:00 pm and 1:00 am BST, the following day.
Panopto have informed us there are intermittent issues with uploading sessions. Looking at Aston Replay, none of our sessions from today have successfully uploaded. The sessions will remain on the computers they were recorded on until the issues are fixed. There’s more information and updates on Panopto’s status page – trust.panopto.com.
macOS Sierra Keynote capture issue
We’ve had word from Panopto that there are problems with macOS Sierra users capturing from Keynote If Keynote Capture is checked, recordings will not successfully upload. Unable to upload from on campus
You’re currently unable to upload to Replay from on campus, including teaching rooms, offices or via the wireless networks. Logging in and making recordings is unaffected. Any recordings made on campus will remain on the computer that made them, and will automatically upload when the issue is resolved.
