From 21 July, you will only be able to record sessions if you are using the most recent version of the Panopto recorder.
Replay unavailable on the evening of June 10th
For three hours on Saturday 10 June, beginning at 2100 BST, you will be unable to view or upload sessions. During this time, Aston Replay will be upgraded to the latest version of Panopto. Failed uploads
Panopto have informed us there are intermittent issues with uploading sessions. Looking at Aston Replay, none of our sessions from today have successfully uploaded. The sessions will remain on the computers they were recorded on until the issues are fixed. There’s more information and updates on Panopto’s status page – trust.panopto.com.
macOS Sierra Keynote capture issue
We’ve had word from Panopto that there are problems with macOS Sierra users capturing from Keynote If Keynote Capture is checked, recordings will not successfully upload. Panopto 5.3
Aston Replay was upgraded to Panopto 5.3 just before Christmas. Unable to upload from on campus
You’re currently unable to upload to Replay from on campus, including teaching rooms, offices or via the wireless networks. Logging in and making recordings is unaffected. Any recordings made on campus will remain on the computer that made them, and will automatically upload when the issue is resolved.
Service Disruption: 2 November 2016
Replay was either slow or unavailable this morning, between 0931 and 0951 GMT. You will have found it difficult to browse the site, access recordings, or log into the recorder during these times. macOS Sierra: Screen recording bug
When you hide or minimise the Panopto recorder on macOS Sierra, it will stop recording the screen. You will need to download and install the newest version of the recorder.
