Google Chrome on OS X is currently not fully supported

Google Chrome on OS X no longer supports Silverlight. If you’re using a Mac, you can only view the full versions of your sessions in Safari or Firefox.

If you try to view a session in Chrome on a Mac, you will only see the basic version of the session and will be told to install Silverlight (even if it is already installed). This is because Chrome on OS X is now a 64 bit application, and the Silverlight plugin is only available in a 32 bit version on OS X.

The new versions of the Panopto server & recorder are able to create sessions that don’t need Silverlight to view. We are likely to upgrade to this during summer 2015.
