ISA are reporting a critical problem with data storage equipment which is affecting Aston Replay. As such, sessions are unavailable to view, and recordings will not be processed until the storage equipment is up and running again. Any recordings made during this time will remain on the computers. Playback of sessions is currently unavailable. I’ve submitted a ticket to Panopto and will update here when I know more.

Lectures are appearing in Blackboard modules again.

Links to lectures are not appearing in modules in Blackboard. They are still available by going directly to the Aston Replay server – replay.aston.ac.uk. To see your lectures, log in using the form in the top right. When successful, you’ll be presented with a list of sessions, and can filter them down to a specific Continue Reading…

Access to Aston Replay was restored by ISA last night.

Aston Replay is currently down. ISA have been informed.

The server is accepting uploads again. Sessions recorded on pool room PCs will upload automatically the next time the computer is turned on.

Currently no recordings are uploading to the server. As far as we are aware no recordings will be lost, that have been made in pool teaching rooms.
