Panopto Cloud, which powers Aston Replay, will be upgraded to the latest version on 8 January 2022. It will not be available during the upgrade.

Replay will be unavailable for viewing or creating sessions from 2200 GMT/UTC for up to three hours. View details in other time zones.

During the downtime, you will not be able to

  • Access the Aston Replay site
  • Watch any videos on the Aston Replay site
  • View any Aston Replay videos embedded in Blackboard Learn
  • Upload from Panopto recorders – this will result in a “Server unable to connect” message.

If you need to record sessions using the Panopto Recorder during this time, make sure you have logged into the Recorder prior to 2200. You will then be able to make offline recordings and upload them when the upgrade has finished.
