Have you recorded sessions to the wrong folder, or recorded to your personal folder and need to move them to the correct one?
Via the folder list
Moving a session via the folder list is a recent addition to Panopto. It is quicker, and you can move more than one session at a time.
- Log into the Aston Replay server (How?)
- Find the session you wish to move. To help you locate the session more easily, you can use
- 1: the search box at the top of the screen – type the name of the session, or some of the text that appears in the slides of your presentation, to see a list of sessions that match
- 2: the list of folders on the left – click to show just the sessions in that folder
- 3: the Filter by date button – click to narrow the list down to a date or range of dates
- Click the checkbox next to each session you would like to move
- Click the Move button
- Click the Choose a folder dropdown and select where you want to move them to. You can also start typing the name of the folder (eg the module code) and it will show you a list of matches to pick from.
- Check that you’ve selected the correct folder and sessions, then click Move
- The sessions have been moved when you see a tick next to their titles. Click the X in the top right corner to return to the original folder
